Uses overall understanding of structural and civil engineering concepts to come up with technical solutions;
Uses company approved software and hand calculation to solve engineering problems such as designing structures and foundations;
Follows Ambitech quality procedures, including proper checking, filing and submission of deliverables;
Applies research skills, analytical and creative problem solving skills, questioning and feedback skills; project and time management skills and commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, and initiatives;
Coordinates with the CSA designer to complete the detailed design drawings;
Ensures that the technical content of the drawings are safe, constructible, matches the scope and specifications, and free of errors;
Field Assignments: Occasionally, the Engineer is tasked to visit the project site to take measurements, pictures and other information;
CSA Department Initiatives: The Engineer is expected to participate in other tasks that support the objectives of the department and the company as assigned by the Department Lead;
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) license is an advantage.
Experience in civil and structural design is desired, specifically in industrial and petrochemical facilities.
Depth and lenght of experience will be assigned commensurate position level (e.g., Engineer I, Engineer II, or Senior Engineer), and salary.
Knowledge in structural analysis software such as STAAD is preferred
Knowledge in calculation tools such as MS Excel, MathCAD, etc. is a plus.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as strong interpersonal skills and relationship building;
Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments and coordinate a variety of tasks, with good attention to detail and ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines;
Willing to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries;
Able to communicate in person, phone, email or video conferences;
Available for site visits requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) using personal protective equipment (PPE);
Detail oriented and with a quality mindset.

Mathematically inclined with solid fundamentals in mechanics.
