Position SummaryWe are looking for a committed and experienced senior accountant / finance manager to be based in our Philippines office. This position will report to the SEA, HK & Korea Finance Controller and will manage the full set of accounting for both statutory audit / tax filing and corporate reporting. The position is also responsible for banking & treasury, internal control and finance projects.Responsibilities AccountingEnsure accurate and timely close for all accounting cycles of US GAAP booksResponsible to reconcile and prepare analysis for all GL accountsEnsure proper controls are in place for the payment process; and review to ensure the supplier invoices are accurately, completely & timely processed and distributed by the Share Service CenterReview to ensure the customer invoices are accurately processed against the contractsMaintain local statutory & tax reporting and reconcile to the US GAAP SAP accountBe the first line of interface to support the external and internal auditsEnsure proper record retention for statutory and tax compliance Tax Responsible for tax payment and filing to ensure full compliance of all direct and indirect taxes e.g. corporate income tax (“CIT”), withholding tax (“EWT” & “FWT”), VAT, estimated tax return, etc.Prepare US GAAP income tax and deferred tax provision calculation and support the Transfer Pricing documentation if necessarySupport various tax audits, prepare relevant audit schedules and work closely with tax function and external tax consultants if any OthersMaintain cash flow forecast and local banking relationshipSupport the global/regional compliance and other projects as requiredProvide collaborative support to the business operationsSupport company secretarial matters with external & in-house legal counsel Qualifications / Candidate Attributes Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred8+ years of finance / accounting and tax experience, with at least 4 years in US / EUR MNCsGood understanding of the Philippines tax compliance regulation and accounting GAAPWorking knowledge of the US GAAP and SOX will be an advantageWorking knowledge of SAP and conversant with Microsoft Office is requiredVery hands-on, deadline sensitive & significant attention to detail and ability to work independently is an absolute mustAdaptable to small office environmentWorking experience of assisting tax & accounting of other South-East Asia entities will be a plusGood oral and written communication skills in English
