As an offshore Senior Accountant, your main roles are:


Analyze financial information Prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm’s clients Assist with the management of junior staff and team Key Responsibilities: Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed Review junior staff work papers and ensure appropriate evidence is documented Apply knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry Share knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team Communicate with direct manager on work flow matters Ensure processing of information into the Firm’s systems has been properly recorded Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards Identify, research and/or resolve all complex accounting issues Analyze management accounting reports and provide advice to clients Review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts Minimum Qualifications:
Essential Attributes Proactive and logical mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Technologically adept Highly trainable in new skills and software Outstanding attention to detail Flexibility to perform other relevant tasks as required by the client Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant At least 5 years’ accounting experience At least 3 years exposure in handling Australian accounts Proficient with MS Office applications, particularly Excel High level knowledge on Xero, QBO and or other accounting systems Previous experience managing a team is a plus
