Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Philippines Position Type: Full time

Role and Responsibilities

Main duties include but not limited:

Standardize accounting procedures and oversee company accounting practice.
Full sets of accounts: Issuing Invoices, recording payables, payments etc.
Monthly GL Closing for Philippines entity
Preparation of payroll for Philippines staff
Monitoring client profitability & prepare client P&L
Preparing client reporting where needed/necessary
Statutory Audits & Tax filing: Liaise with Company's external auditor on year-end audits. Prepare financial statement, accounting working papers, accounts analysis and supporting schedules for the audit.
Credit Control both for AR & AP
Review AR, AP and inter-company activities. Prepare inter-company statements.
Consolidation of Philippines weekly cashflow and weekly reforecast
Prepare weekly reforecast and review with Business Director
Ensure timely filing of statutory and tax filings
Ad hoc requests – sales analysis, cost analysis, assisting Business Director with adhoc requests
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Financial Management, being a CPA is a plus
Solid accounting and taxation experience, above 5 years
Good Excel skills
Good Interpersonal and communication skills
Dealing with internal/external experience
Advertising/marketing background will be an advantage
Preferred Skills

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP, Xero preferred.
