Job Description:
OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS: Run the day-to-day activities of the department by taking care of back-end operations COMMUNICATE INDIVIDUAL SALES TARGETS & NEW PROMOTIONS Inform selling team about individual sales targets, new offers & alert Category Merchandising Manager of product/promo problems MANAGE INVENTORY Track current stock levels plus pending deliveries vs. sales trend to alert Category Merchandising Managers of possible stockouts & slow-moving items CHECK ITEMS FOR PULL-OUT Inspect items for transfer or RTV to ensure correctness of product type & quantity, process in MMS & sign the required documents MANAGE OPEX Manage the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use & safekeeping extra items ADMINISTER STAFF Monitor attendance of sales clerks & stock clerks & manage absences by re-assigning tasks to remaining staff (manage plantilla, leaves, issue violation reports) Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related course With minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in supervisory capacity, preferably in retail management Personable, creative, sales-oriented and with above average communication skills Flexible to be assigned to work schedules supporting the retail operational hours Willing to be assigned in The SM Store Pampanga Full time positions available
