WHAT IS A SELENIUM AUTOMATION TESTER
Our awesome client, a leading governing body of thoroughbred horse racing company based in Australia is looking for a SELENIUM AUTOMATION TESTER to be part of their team.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform functional and non-functional tests both locally and remotely.
- Create, maintain and improve the automated testing suite.
- Adhere to high standards of development practice and self-management of work.
- Liaising with internal and external technology peers in a professional and respectful manner.
- Continuous improvement of automation framework, documenting and updating as needed
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You are proactive, have great interpersonal skills and show a willingness to adapt and learn.
These are some of your verifiable attributes:
- Extensive experience in Quality Assurance and functional testing.
- Significant experience in test automation using Selenium (or similar), Cypress
- Experience in test automation scripting using Java or JavaScript
- Solid experience in agile software delivery practices.
- Experience in testing against microservices such as APIs.
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Degree in Software Development or related discipline
- Experience in testing in an AWS environment.
- Experience with CMS such as Contentful, Sitecore or other similar products.
- Exposure to concepts of UX, wireframes and other visual design tools.
