MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The Selecta Affordable Snacking Asst.
Brand Manager will oversee the affordable snacking range of Selecta including brands like Boom Boom, Creamdae, and Fruit Slice.
He/She will report to the Brand Manager for Cornetto & Affordable Snacking.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Long-term strategic plan for Affordable Snacking Ice Cream Business
- Portfolio and innovation road-mapping, opportunity spotting/ insighting, and financial modeling
- Gatekeeping documents/presentations of projects
- Leads cross-functional internal taskforce team to deliver global and/or local innovations
- Global taskforce for importation of Unilever-produced global innovations
- Local taskforce + 3P Supplier for importation of non-UL produced innovations
- Local taskforce for landing all innovations and promotions to trade
- Leads cross-functional external taskforce team to deliver communications campaigns across various touchpoints
- Media briefing, feedback and approval of media plans
- Creative briefing, feedback and approval of creative response
- PR briefing, feedback and approval of PR plans
- Coordination with internal taskforce to align plans
- Monitor implementation of all communications plans
- Day-to-day brand operations
- Sales analysis
- Demand planning and supply coordination
- Budget management
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge on innovation, communication development, and media planning process
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Good with numbers (sales analysis, business cases, etc.)
- An excellent English language communicator with senior stakeholders, peers and reports (conversational and presentational)
- Experience in managing relationships in a large, multinational, matrix organization
- Experience working as or with marketing stakeholders/agencies and an understanding of their likely challenges and information requirement
