- Supervise and enhance the competencies of all security personnel by providing necessary training and guidance, including the conduct of security drills and exercises
- Act as the company's Deputy Port Facility Security Officer and ensure compliance with the requirements of ISPS Code and Office for Transportation Security.
- Evaluate, assess and analyze performance of security personnel.
- Ensure that all security devices and equipment are in good working condition.
- Initiate disciplinary measures wherever necessary.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, applicable policies, and regulations while implementing security measures.
- Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System and other QESH requirements.
- Coordinates with the PNP, AFP, PCG, LGUs, and Vital Installations/BISA, Inc. with regard to the security concerns in the area.
- Participate and contribute to the development, revision, and improvement of Security Procedures, Security Plan, Port Facility Security Assessment and Port Facility Security Plan in coordination with all concerned parties.
- Provide input in the preparation of the department annual plans including budget and manpower requirements.
- Contribute in the enhancement the company's relationship with the immediate communities.
- Perform other tasks related to safety and security management that may be assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum education requirement:
4-Year Bachelor's Degree preferably in Security Management related courses.
Professional License:
Certified Security Professionals.
Preferably OTS certified Port Facility Security Officer

Minimum work experience:
5 years of progressive experience in Security Management.
Ideal work experience:

- A thorough knowledge in the use of latest technology based security equipment.
- Experience in the conduct of security survey and inspection, including identification of security risks and the development of corresponding mitigations.
- Must be able to demonstrate security management skills, leadership, and commitment to safety & security.
- Supervisory experience that demonstrates delegation, decision making, coaching/mentoring, work planning and scheduling, empowering others to maximize their contribution to the department's success.
