The Pre-Sales Consultant must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio to ensure that the products being offered can be tailored to meet the customers’ requirements.
The role will primarily provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers’ technical and business requirements, designing a solution and/or migration plan, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting the sales team on proposal activities. It will also encompass other activities in support of the business, such as liaising with our development team to make product recommendations based on customer and market requirements and acting as a key source of knowledge regarding industry change and compliance.
Applicant must be well experienced with SAP ® in general and an expert in specific business-process areas. This position is integral in the performance of data migration activities for a specific process thread while driving communication with client SMEs and Business-Process Experts for data migration activities.
This position requires physical activity associated with office routines, as well as the ability to travel to locations within Asia Pacific.
Qualifications
5-7 Years SAP Techno-Functional or Functional experience; 1+ full SAP implementation lifecycle(s)
Expert level business-process knowledge associated with SAP HCM or more of the following SAP functional modules: MM, SD, PP, QM, PM,FI CO
Total (5+) years’ experience on IT projects
Proficient in BackOffice CranSoft/DSP/Other Data Migration tool
Extensive data quality and data migration experience including proficiency in data warehousing, data analysis and conversion planning for data migration activities
3 to 5 years Business-Process experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other related analytical or technical disciplines, or at least four (4) years related experience
Proficient in Microsoft ® SQL preferred: SQL query skills, comprehensive understanding of SQL Table structure and an understanding of relational databases.

Provide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subject matter expertise and leadership
Work with Business users (from executive-level CxOs to power users, business process and systems SMEs, information consumers and data scientists) to elicit their strategic business vision, goals and objectives, as well as understanding their pain points, obstacles, challenges, desired end-state capabilities, gathering requirements in different forms including: facilitated interview sessions, applying Agile requirements gathering techniques and reviewing existing SQL reports, programs and data structures to reverse engineer requirements as needed
Consult with key individuals across multiple projects at the client regarding the usage and application of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing architectural standards
Develop conceptual and logical data models from business requirements
Creation and Maintenance of SAP Data Migration plan
SAP Data Extraction, Transform and Load
Documentation
Training new recruits on the SAP Migration Toolsets
Stay current with leading approaches, solutions, and tools in the Data Management and Analytics area
