An Operations Team Lead I is a highly focused role responsible for maintaining a service-oriented and professional working environment by supervising the performance of the Global Audit team members and executing necessary actions for their motivation when required. This position is knowledgeable of all Global Audit terminologies, workflow, technology, and is able to steer their assigned team into achieving a balanced FPR.
Manages a Global Audit Operations team of 15-25 by providing guidance including, but not limited to, the following:
For performance management purposes:
daily team huddle to share overall direction for the shift (e.g., workload, tool issues and workaround, configuration updates, FPR goals)
bi-weekly coaching and mentoring in order to achieve an FPR grade of 3.0 and above
as needed, performs due diligence to erring team members
liaises between Auditor and Concur via escalation management (e.g., benefits, grievance, pay concerns)
ensures balanced distribution of team workload through schedule management
liaises between Auditor and Global Audit Support teams via escalation management (e.g., tool issues, configuration/audit table questions)
ensures their Auditors are trained and certified based on their eligibility
Documents performance improvement processes needed to retain/remove Auditor with/from Global Audit
Recommends improvement to Audit policies, processes, and technology
Utilizes tools and systems proficiently to improve Global Audit performance and accordingly escalates issues to immediate Supervisor as needed
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Education, Experience & Training required:
Bachelor's Degree holder
Ideally should have six (6) months of back office and/or data encoding experience
Must have passed the following Certification Processes: ExpenseIT, Receipt Audit Clients, General Audit Clients, Priority Audit Clients, VAT Audit, Policy Audit, and Difficult Audit
Must possess the following skills and/or abilities:
work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities at any given time
strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization
set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
work in a team environment
maintain confidentiality, including, but not limited to, end-user financial information and client policies and procedures
pass the company-required background check
Job requires full hours of data processing and assessment
Auditor must be agreeable to schedule rotations, including working on holidays and graveyard shifts as necessary
As deemed necessary, Auditor must be able to work overtime in order to meet critical business objectives on service level, productivity, and quality
