Tasks This position is responsible for providing ABAP and middleware support for our ERP environments. Detailed responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, creation and maintenance of outputs, technical support of interfaces, reporting, break fix on existing applications and upgrades. Captures requirements; collates and documents requirements. Works with the Business user / leads / SME. Assist in the preparation and review of the technical/functional/test case documentation and maintains an effective library.
Excellent domain knowledge and business process knowledge. Assists team lead in analyzing requirements, change request, does impact analysis and provides estimation. Initiates change requests. Good hands on capability - can independently develop good quality deliverable. Proactively comes with process improvement, suggestions and implements the same within own area of responsibility. Defines/Assist in designing project specific templates. Prepares/guides and ensures that team follows the specifications / standards / guidelines / design. Reviews the specifications, documentation, and test cases/scripts and also gets it approved by team lead Recommends best method and tools to improve process. Expected to deliver good quality work products independently and guide/mentor team members effectively. Communicate effectively with Team lead, team members and Users. Presents and discusses work results clearly.
System Change Requests: Implement assigned system change requests by carrying out tasks as required during the full lifecycle of a system change request resulting in process improvements per defined business requirements.
Project Management: Accurately employ project management methodology and documentation tools; mentor less senior staff on proper methodology and documentation standards. Proactively carry out project support /administrative functions. Accurately complete status reports in a timely manner and complies with all our policies and procedures.
Administration, Communication and Documentation: Establish responsible deadlines and manage time effectively; accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional; establish effective working relationship with business users; seek input from mentors and supervisors.
Integration Testing: Assist in creating formal test cases and test procedures using standard department templates and procedures to ensure fully tested business systems resulting in high quality systems implementations.
Business Process Analysis and Improvements: Assist with business requirements gathering sessions and prepare assigned deliverables resulting in detailed and fully documented business requirements definitions. Implement system solutions that result in business process improvements that increase business efficiencies and effectiveness.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in related information technology field.
Participation in a minimum of 1-2 full life cycle system implementations.
Strong problem solving skills with well-organized and structured work habits.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function well in a team or independently.
SAP ABAP Programming Tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAP script, and Smart Forms
Principles of program documentation
Knowledge of integration points between various business processes or modules.
Professional Experience:
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of ABAP Experience.
Knowledge of business process and SAP module integration.
Experience preparing program specifications and diagrams, develops coding logic flowcharts.
