The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for activities of the channel sales function to reach business targets and financial goals. This is a vital role working cross-functionally not limited to Sales, Support, Orders, Finance, focused on increasing overall sales productivity.
He/she will manage all non-selling channels operational activities across Asia Pacific & Japan regions, providing close support to the APJ Channel leader and sales teams to ensure business continuity, managing systems, tools, reports, analytics.
This position reports to the Director of Sales Operations and Finance, APJ. It is important that this position fosters close, cooperative relationships with leaders, sales management, sales & support teams and cross-functional teams across the business.
Key responsibilities but not limited to:
Ensure the appropriate operation support mechanisms are in place to manage and meet the needs of the business
Direct responsibility will include a business consulting role, working closely with diverse user groups including senior and regional management, sales, marketing, finance, and legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information
Tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting channel sales and partner rebate plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, both top and bottom-line financial analysis
Coordinates sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used with the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales organization.
Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement, work closely with region channel lead to inspect partner process quality and implement change for improvement.
Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other business intelligence essentials to the sales organization. Recommends revision to existing reports or assist in the development of new reporting tools as required.
Identify productivity trends across the region and use insight from reporting to create and drive efficient processes to improve productivity
Provide reporting and analytics support for the range of operational requirements- pipeline metrics, productivity metrics and KPIs. Use CRM-Salesforce and other systems to provide clear and concise data
Meet frequently with regional channel sales and sales ops leaders, to identify areas of improvement to increase productivity and overall partner satisfaction

Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years of relevant experience in sales operations in IT/software industry
Experience in SFDC crm tool is a must, other system tools (e.g. BI tool Cognos, Finance tool SAP) is a plus
Prior sales reporting experience in a partner centric environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Ability to gather, interpret and apply critical thinking to data to help make informed decisions. And to think and influence both at the strategic and execution level to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting, decision-making, organizational, time management, collaboration, communication skills with key attention to details producing high quality work.
Experience in documenting process/methodologies is an added advantage
