Job SummaryThe successful candidate will develop, lead and manage the industrial project selling activities for the business, and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales optionsTo generate project inquiries from various sources such as Corporate Houses, Consulting Firms, Public and Private Sector Entities, Individuals and Non-Government OrganizationsRaise quote request forms to design and estimation department based on the customer’s requirements/consultants’ drawings in order to get the estimate of the projectPrepare a Techno-commercial offer to submit to customersNegotiate with customers to finalize the contractsCoordinate with customer and head office for the successful and timely execution of projectsSecured payment or letter of credits for jobs on timePreparing sales forecasts and report to immediate supervisors at regular intervalQualificationsA graduate of Civil Engineering, Mechanical or structural engineeringWith at least 4 - 6 years of relevant selling experience in Pre-Engineering Building / Structural Steel / Project sales / Construction equipment segmentsPossess corporate capabilities and skills that are necessary for handling group product presentationsPossess good clientele database that would be useful for specification work and sales responsibilitiesDemonstrates an understanding of the market; identifies where improvements are needed to be more successful and competitiveDemonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and a pragmatic approach to work duties and challenges
