Description:
Plan, strategize and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Programs in the organization
Supervise safety operations including legal compliances, hazard and incident management and other safety programs
Develop and innovate safety management systems through data collection and analysis
Research, study, evaluate, and implement existing and new safety standards in consonance with the government environmental standards, occupational safety and health, fire code, and its implementing rules and regulations in accordance with international and local safety standards
Establish policies and procedures to standardize corporate implementation of the OSH Programs
Manage internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of the OSH Programs
Develop safety engagement activities to increase safety culture within the organization
Assist government regulatory bodies during audit and inspection
Conduct a safety evaluation of work units and immediate implementation of safety requirements and projects
Requirements:
Required Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective and fluent written and verbal communication skills
Required Experience
Graduate of any four-year course with at least three (3) years of experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health
At least three (3) years experience on policy and procedure development and enforcement, accident prevention, emergency response, accident investigation, and compliance to Occupational Safety and Health Standard
Completed the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Course
Preferably a DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner
