The role of the Risk & Compliance Analyst is to provide advice and assistance on risk and compliance matters within Customer Operations, to support the embedment of a compliance culture into business decision-making processes, and assist in the development of procedures to assist Customer Operations to meet risk and compliance obligations and best practices.
You will be required to work closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager, other Compliance Analysts within your team, and Care operations leaders and team members to ensure effective and efficient risk and compliance oversight.

- Assist in the management and maintenance of Care compliance frameworks
- Monitor, assess and report on key compliance and risk related metrics across Customer Operations (such as complaints, policy adherence, incidents and breaches)
- Conduct compliance audits including call listening
- Co-ordinate and conduct periodic compliance reviews, such as TCP Code attestation
- Assist business owners to contribute to and complete internal reviews and self-assessments, including adherence to the TPG Telecom Obligations Register
- Identify and communicate any key business or customer-impacting non-compliance or systemic issues to relevant stakeholders and the Risk & Compliance Manager in a timely manner
- Assist policy owners and Care operational stakeholders to understand their risk and compliance obligations and controls
- Monitor industry and regulatory updates and review TPG Telecom's policies and procedures in relation to these updates
- Conduct presentations and education sessions to raise awareness within key functional areas on compliance obligations and key areas of risk
- On an ad-hoc basis assist with various projects and initiatives so that compliance obligations are effectively incorporated in the design and implementation of various initiatives

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Some experience working with standards, audit, fraud management, change delivery, security, compliance and/or risk management.
This could be in a compliance role or within a customer service, sales or change role.
- An understanding of the fundamental aspects of process or policy compliance adherence
- An understanding of the Australian telecommunications industry and market, with the ability to predict customer needs, compliance trends or regulatory action
- Ability to clearly articulate compliance framework objectives to our customer-facing teams and business leaders.
- You have a natural attention to detail and the ability to understand the implications of a situation and recommend analysis and pragmatic next steps to your manager or other leaders across the business.
- You have a natural risk aversion with a strong compliance and continuous improvement mindset
- Very good stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Your outputs are clean and concise.
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
- You will be comfortable working on your own initiative, a self-starter in the habit of proactively investigating potential issues or possible root causes.
