Reports Analyst / Programmer

Job Description:
Position Summary The Reports Analyst is primarily responsible for regularly providing accurate information in a manner that has been agreed upon with the users. Whenever necessary, programming or scripting will have to be employed in relation to the deliverables. The Reports Analyst will own the reporting process and will, from time to time introduce improvements for better efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities Generate regular reports in a format and frequency which has been agreed-upon with the users. When necessary, perform the needed programming in order to deliver the reports. Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation with relevant technical or business groups. Periodically initiate report reviews to maintain relevance of data provided Create documentation and conducts user orientation for all identified regular reports. As may be needed, participate in project discussions to ensure report requirements are well understood prior to go-live date. Generate ad hoc or special reports as aligned with requestors. Assist in operational support efforts by providing necessary data. Proactively suggest design and process improvements based on available resources and best practices. Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience Knowledgeable in: Oracle PL/SQL; MS SQL server; C#; .net; Java script; HTML; Ajax query Knowledge in data visualization Above-average problem solving skills
