The Role
- The role is a mix of deliverables between accounting and reporting (but heavy on the fixed assets accounting such as creation, retirement and impairment)
- Ensure that business transactions are accounted either automatically or manually in line with the Standard Global Processes as well as Shell and External accounting guidelines
- Ensure that reports are prepared in compliance with financial and management reporting standards/guidelinesQualification Required:
- Has at least 1-2 yrs experience in accounting/auditing field
- Familiarity with accounting systems preferably GSAP/SAP
- With background in accounts reconciliation process
- Fast and accurate data input skills, analytical skills & attention to details
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Eager to learn new tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Can work in/with team across process areas (although essentially an individual contributor)
- Good command in English both oral and written
Work schedule:
- Generally reporting on a 3pm-12mn shift but varies especially during closing period (can start later; normally at around 6pm)
