Qa/Qc Civil & Structural Engineer ( Lapu-Lapu, Cebu)

Job Description:
Review and analyze design and construction drawings prior to implementation on site to make sure the design intent is followed. Perform daily site inspection of various Civil/Structural Works on site to make sure construction drawings and specifications are followed. Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan. Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site in-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Noncompliance Report (NCR). Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations. Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project. Liaise with the Technical Engineers (gencon side) for submission of material submittals i.e design mix/job mix, test results etc. to the Consultant. Conduct night inspection, if necessary. Coordinate with other trade contractors to ensure that the project shall be completed within budget and specified time schedule. Performs other tasks as assigned by the immediate head. Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent. Applicants must be willing to work in Punta Engano, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Can Start immediately.
