Purchasing Staff

**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You are to ensure that all purchase orders are issued to suppliers & sub-contractors have been properly assessed in accordance with standard procedures.
- Liaise with the QMS to ensure that all supplier assessments are carried out and new supplier/ sub-contractor is being approved.
- You are to create/assist in creating a materials procurement schedule is to be developed for every project.
This is to take into account lead times for materials and delivery dates.
This materials procurement schedule should be done with the approval of and the input of the Project Managers.
Once agreed this schedule must be followed unless directed or altered by the respective Project Team.
- You are to ensure that all proper terms and conditions are attached to each and every purchase order raised.
- Material procurement schedule is to follow cost codes and purchases are to be monitored and checked against these cost codes.
- Order or requisition of all materials required to enable the project to be completed.
Material takeoffs of all materials required on the project will be provided to you by the Project Team.
- You will be responsible to monitor the purchases from all suppliers and ensure that delivery dates are properly achieved and any variances reported.
- You are to liaise with accounts to ensure that all purchases are approved by the Project Team in accordance with agreed payment terms and in accordance with Accounting deadline requirements.
- The invoices are to be approved in accordance with the standards procedures.
This also applies to progress payments for sub-contractors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- College Degree
- At least 2 years work experience as Purchasing Staff in a construction industry
- Adeptness in computers using MS Office
- Above average communication skills in both oral and written English and Filipino
- Organized and keen to details

**Salary**: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
