Purchasing Staff

Job Description:
Monitors and process request to suppliers to ensure items are delivered on time.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in preparation and processing of purchase and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures Prepares summary of quotations prior to drafting of purchase order Assist in coordinating with suppliers to ensure on time deliveries Execute, monitor and maintain complete updated purchasing records Assist in creating proposals, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers Follow up on orders to ensure and that materials are shipped and delivered on time May inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications Perform job related duties as required Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION/ KNOWLEDGE Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration or Management Courses SKILLS Proficient in MS Office Strong analytical and organization skills Excellent communication skills Strong interpersonal skills WORK EXPERIENCE 1+ years’ experience in related field PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Must be keen to details Must be organized in handling documents WORKING CONDITIONS Work not limited to Purchasing staff Other work area(s): Office Area Environmental conditions: Purchasing staff will need to accommodate all purchasing concerns of every department. He/She will do fielwork if necessary to source out suppliers for the Materials needed for the office,
