Job Descriptions:
Prepares accurate and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, and raw goods.
Ensures that purchases are recorded at the time of the request, and submitting these orders to get approval from the department or from the Purchasing Head.
Ensures that all materials arrive at the scheduled time.
Schedules outgoing shipments for returns
Follow up with vendors to check in on late or missing shipments or to report damaged items.
Speaks directly with vendor representatives to gather pricing data, compare vendor offers for shipping rates and material prices, and maintain vendor contact information.
Maintains detailed records of purchases, including quantities, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase and maintains purchasing department files to support future activities.
With knowledge in inventory management.
Determines through inventory when new purchases are needed or place replenishment orders and determine scheduled purchasing activities
Must have the following skills: Organizational, Leadership, and Communications; Customer Service Orientation, Negotiation skills
Good mathematical skills;
Can work under pressure and less supervision
Must have high integrity, credibility, and accountability
Computer Literate; Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite;
Background in working in the aviation industry is an advantage;
Willing to work overtime and during holidays and weekends when the need arises;
