Job Description:
Prepare, implement and ensure strict compliance of policies & procedures for the efficient operation of the department. Prepare and implement vendor accreditation procedure and perform vendor performance evaluation. Streamline procurement processes to ensure all requirements are delivered at the best possible time with the best quality and price. Develop and maintain trackers for monitoring all Purchasing activities (RO, PO, delivery, cost savings, and team & individual performance). Continuously identify critical/insurance and fast-moving stock for re-ordering to increase availability of frequently used items. Develop inventory reduction strategies such as consignment and vendor managed inventory of high value stock items to greatly reduce inventory costs. Develop Team and individual KPIs and duties and responsibilities. Perform job evaluation and staff assessment to continuously improve on their performance on semi-annually. Provide staff development opportunities by scheduling regular training programs to enhance skills required to perform their assigned tasks. Generate monthly reports to management and highlight major issues concerning the supply chain and provide quarterly risk assessment report. Ensure that proper vendor qualifying ad vendor performance evaluation is done on a regular basis to have a more competitive source of goods & services to benefit the operation. Ensure the team works within the approved budget. Comply and promote adherence to all Company policies and regulations specially Procurement and Safety Policies. Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time. Minimum Qualifications:
College Graduate preferably BS Engineering or Business Course At least five(5) years related work experience preferably in a Mining or Quarry environment Excellent management and leadership skills Good technical skills Good oral and written communication skills High level of interpersonal skills, moral stability, and integrity. With a great sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, proactive, resourceful and creative thinker Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. With pleasing personality and maintains a level of professionalism in dealing with colleagues/vendors. Has the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment Follows organization and department procedures.
