Purchasing Assistant

I. JOB SUMMARYResponsible for evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders anf costs). For this role, knowledgeable in market, research, along with solid analytical skills to identify most profitable offers.II. JOB DESCRIPTION1. Research potential vendors.2. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.3. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.4. Tract orders and ensure timely delivery.5. Review quality of purchased products.6. Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities and prices) into internal databases.7. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.8. Prepare reports on purchases including cost analysis.9. Monitor stock levels and place orders a needed.10. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.III. JOB DIMENSION1. Server, computer parts and equipment for all workstations.2. 100% Compliance to Safety, Environmental, Fire Hazard and Housekeeping Guidelines.3. Compliance to safety, security, rules & regulations pertaining to his function as LAN Administrator.4. Operation and proper maintenance of all company computer equipment.5. Strict observance of working hours, punctuality and attendance as well as adherence to company rules and regulations.IV. PROFILECompetencies1. Graduate or undergraduate of BS Mechanical Engineering.2. Must have at least 2 years of hands-on system operations experience or at least 1 year experience in Purchasing.3. Understanding supply chain procedures.4. Solid analytical skills with the ability to create financial report and conduct cost analysis.5. Proven work experience as a Purchasing Assistant.6. Organized and strong coordination skills and negotiating skills and can work with minimum supervision.7. Above average oral and written communication skills.8. Hardworking and keen to details.9. Adequate knowledge in industrial safety, pollution control and environmental restrictions.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
