Job Description:
Support overall PR strategy, leveraging internal data and external research to extract insights for different stakeholder communications (internal/ external) that will drive institutional trust for the brand. First point of contact for any crises or issues, working closely with Head of PR, Chief Marketing Officer, and Crisis Management Group to escalate where required. Implement PR activities including press conferences, blogger outreach, events, speaker opportunities, and any other initiatives. Drive ideation, creation, and production of online/offline events, collateral materials and new digital interactions that can engage consumers and drive conversations Identify, create and execute opportunities to connect community key opinion leaders and influencers with the media Engage and execute with the PR agency, regional PR team and internal stakeholders to develop key messages, briefing documents, translations, press releases, respond to media inquiries and crisis management. Work cross-functionally with various Lazada teams and external agencies to drive proactive campaigns. Identify and organize strategic opportunities for external presentations to media and influencer audiences, with little oversight or guidance Build long term relationship with media. Ensure the brand identity and messaging are consistently applied across PR channels. Track performance by measuring and monitoring identified KPIs. Ensure that best-in-class project management practices are employed to deliver high-quality work within strategy, budget, and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years’ experience in PR in related industries Proven track record of corporate and relationship management (both internal and external) Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary to present strategies, conceptual frameworks, and plans to various key stakeholders to persuade, convince, excite and gain alignment. Strong corporate PR background to drive strategic messaging and story-telling Good balance of traditional and digital/social PR experience. A nimble, self-directed, detail-oriented, results-focused and collaborative team player who can quickly shuffle priorities to meet the demands of the job and be comfortable in an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently. Experience working with regional teams will be a bonus.
