Description
Support the organization in delivering project services goals through project tool development, administration, implementation of projects, generation of project reports and delegation of information based on the needs of internal and external customers. Responsible for administrative and support functions related to delivery of Project Services.
Responsibilities
PLANNING
- Define, scope, gather and analyse business requirements for application development
- Design and develop applications based on business requirements
- Build and design dashboards, with the ability to evaluate business needs and to translate them into technology specifications.
- Develop and implement project management tool, specifically in building custom applications and developing custom pages
LEADING & COMMUNICATION
- Provide end-user support by debugging/troubleshooting issues, answering questions about system functionality, and responding to enhancement requests
- Identify and build integrations with other business tools/applications to optimize processes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop ideal business processes and automate manual work
- Support Manager of Applications in driving product and program launch activities to meet or exceed project timing milestones
ORGANIZING
- Develop project management application tool and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities in a cross-functional and Rapid Application Development environment
- Using a project management tool, develop and implement pages and entire application to their maximum potential, resulting in a functional, fully customized up-to-date end-state.
- Customize forms, pages and work flow systems
- Manage multiple projects with different business stakeholders at once
ANALYSIS & CONTROL
- Serve as administrator of project management applications, functionality, pages, reports, and dashboards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with project management application tool
- Develop, maintain reports and analyse data
- Performs monitoring, maintenance and reporting on real-time project management application databases.
-Develop, configure, enhance, and administer a variety of project management applications
- Build reports and dashboards for end-users and management
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year business discipline course
- At least 1 year experience in project coordination/administration, collections and customer service is required
- Experience gained from supply chain, engineering and manufacturing related business, plant operations is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Attention to details and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Project) and other Business Systems and Tools.
- Prior Experience with QuickBase, HTML and JavaScript
- Ability to make decisions in solving issues and concerns
- Ability to assume cross-trained function in the event of low utilization
- Ability to assume back up functions in the event of skills and capacity constraints
- Ability to build long lasting relationships with internal & external customers
- Willing to work on schedule required by assigned business unit and customers .
- Must be able to effectively and independently function while maintaining a positive energy level in an environment of constantly shifting demands.
