Job Description
This role will be responsible for all functions required by Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters by coordinating project activities and performing analysis on project artifacts and reports.
As a Project Coordinator, the incumbent supports, executes and administers the project requirements by applying Traditional, Agile (with a focus on SAFE) and Rapid development methodologies. Wearing the Reports Analysts hat, the incumbent produces reports used by Resource Managers to determine the compliance of the project team in managing time, effort and quality of the project team’s deliverables. The role will be responsible to present project data (including financial information) to Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to track activity progress, identify support areas and recommend process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Provide project management support, such as project planning, scheduling, reporting, etc. to either inflight or future projects
Maintain technical documentation for project management processes, its procedures and the tools used in its support
Document discussions with Sponsors, Owners and participating teams during project meetings
Assist in creating and formatting of improvement and innovation relation communication and documents.
Track activity progress and follow-up with its owners, when needed
Administer information repositories owned by the Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters
Periodic monitoring of resource levels, including administration of project time sheets
Develop a solid understanding of continual improvement and innovation
Implement small-scale code and scripts to improve project tools, when requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any computer/IT related course(preferred)
Awareness of Project Management methods (Agile, SAFE, Waterfall, PRINCE2)
Working knowledge with Rally, JIRA, and other Agile tools is an advantage
Experience in executing business process improvements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications with at least intermediate skills in Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint Online
Excellent written and oral communication skills – able to recognize key discussion items and record comments with high accuracy
Strong attention to detail and able to consume information in bulk as available from sizable spreadsheets
Able to draft Management level presentation material sourced from various platforms or reports
Soft Skills:
Ability to clearly understand and act on presented problem statement; to comprehend, capture and interpret project information
Strong organizational skills and able to work under pressure by forging working relationships with peers, project team members and client
Ability to exercise flexibility and rational judgment
