**The Role**
The Retirement Technology Solutions group develops, hosts and supports financial and administration software for our user base, both external and internal.
Our group is made up by multiple Agile and Kanban Scrum teams in Europe and Asia working collaboratively as we strive to reduce time to market, deliver increased business value, and improve the quality of our digital services.
We are looking for you as a Project and People Manager to support the growth trajectory of our group and to strengthen our ability to deliver technology projects across our group.
In your role you will work with our Head of department to coordinate and drive internal processes like recruiting and onboarding, plan and manage group related projects as well as software delivery projects.
As a people manager you will in addition be responsible for the personal growth, career and objective discussions and the wellbeing of your direct reports.
You will be responsible for managing medium-to-high complexity projects from initiation to delivery across multiple geographic regions.
You will play a key role by serving as the central link between the business, development, and our other teams who may be impacted by the product and/or projects you are managing.
You will develop comprehensive project plans and manage teams in the delivery of multifaceted projects and other project management related responsibilities.
This includes developing and managing project plans, project risk and issue logs, creating and managing project dashboards, organizing and conducting meetings and tracking action items from those meetings.
**The Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project or Program Manager ideally in a software development or financial/insurance environment.
- Proven leadership experience as a people manager in guiding colleagues on their career journey and personal growth
- Empathy, humor and the desire to further the growth of others.
- Proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes.
- Strong technical, project management, business analysis and organizational skills
- Experience with processes of strategic planning and management, process improvement,
- change/scope management, conflict resolution, resource planning and utilization.
- Additional experience within an Agile Environment welcome.
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals, including project
- metrics and dashboards.
- Requires advanced project or program management skills including work breakdown, risk monitoring and mitigation, scope management, and status reporting to management.
- Hands-on management of projects and their outcomes
- Strong ability to identify potential issues and dependencies early.
- Quickly facilitates mitigation plans, alternative approaches and communication of risks.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with teams within multiple geographic locations
- Experience working with Microsoft technology stack.
