This position offers you an opportunities to see production of products at different countries and expand your network internal and externally. This position will report to Country Sales Manager.
YOUR ASSIGNMENTS: Ensure your country is legally compliant with all product legislations and that methods are in place for monitoring, mapping, follow-up and implementation. Influence and challenge the established way of working and participating in internal and external networks. Develop relation with national consumer authorities and be identified as the IKEA contact person in all matters relating to product requirements and compliance. Participate and monitor national standardization work and business associations to influence and drive improvements of product-related laws and standards. Report national product legislations and standards, and provide Product Requirements & Compliance at IoS (IoS PR&C). Lead the product safety & compliance deviation and recall processes on the local market and keep IoS PR&C informed about the same. Ensure the end-to end compliance of the IKEA product offer throughout the retail operations. Establish regular contacts with matrix partners in IKEA stores and the Service Office to keep them informed about product safety and compliance issues that could affect the business. Secure a common approach for handling PR&C issues. Following up the IKEA Product Safety and Compliance alarm process to ensure full and timely reporting to IoS of safety-related incidents and non- compliance issues. Product investigations and matters concerning product safety and non- compliance. Product safety-related issues and handle all product safety and non-compliance-related contacts with national authorities or relevant organizations. Training materials and competence development of the people who report risk/alarm cases. Minimum Qualifications:
Experienced in handling product safety, requirement and compliance topics with authorities. Experienced in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business). Ability to quickly develop knowledge of local markets and product legislation conditions. Highly developed skills for building networks internally and externally with national authorities and consumer groups. Broad knowledge of the importance of safe and compliant products and how it contributes to IKEA business and growth agenda. Good knowledge of the legislation and standards applicable for the IKEA product range within home furnishing as well as a good understanding of how to influence. Good knowledge of the IKEA product range, IKEA Concept and overall IKEA business processes. Knowledge of business negotiation. Knowledge of national product legislation, market situation and trends Fluent in spoken and written English.
