The Product Release Coordinator will provide responsible for applying mastery knowledge of food safety systems, regulatory and Cargill requirements across the business in all areas of Food Safety and Quality. Provides technical expertise and understand value statements for product release. Set targets of product safety and quality release parameters to ensure that packaging, raw materials as well as the finished products meet customer expectations.This position performs work under limited supervision as an independent contributor while working with cross functional teams to support business needs.
Key Accountabilities'- You will reviews, under limited supervision, all product release records including batch production records and laboratory Certificate of Analysis (COA) to confirm accuracy and makes the determination of acceptability for product release.You will performs actual release of incoming products, raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, returned products, and checks conformity with written procedures and specified product specification.You will confirms that all quality parameters and other documentation related to the lot to be released are complete prior to product release.You will monitor and track status of products in electronic inventory system to ensure that no product SKU’s/lots are with pending disposition.You will update or generate Standard Procedures / Work Instructions and assist in collecting quality metrics as required.You will work closely with cross-functional team, coordinate and determine estimated due dates and follow-up laboratory results (thru COA) and disposition status of products to ensure timely release of products.You will provide notification to concerned departments for any product/lot code that does not meet specifications or non-conformance to food safety/quality standards with appropriate level of urgency and generate notice of non-conformance if required.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science fieldGood communication skills with pro-active attitudeAdaptable, building trust, contributing to team successAbility to work during weekends and shifting schedulesDemonstrated organizational skillsKeen attention to detailsProficient in the use of MS Office applications
Preferred QualificationsDegree in food science or microbiologyBasic knowledge of multiple areas of quality and food safetyOperations experienceProactive and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced environmentBackgound in SAPKnowledgeable in laboratory operations
