Description
Provides system and database management to Systems and Solutions organisation and to the global subsidiaries of Emerson. Controls the quality and integrity of the global product databases.Responsibilities
Manages and maintains Oracle and JDE databases in production, development, and testing environments
Analyzes and coordinates ITSS requests with different users.
Supports other departments within the worldwide distribution organization on issues concerning the product databases.
Supports projects that introduce new product into Systems and Solutions organization.
Coordinates and monitors with different organisation on the completion of new products structures and prices.
Performs data analysis and database management activities
Medium to High Complexity knowledge on Item Setup
Coordinates with Marketing/Product Managers for Item setup
Involves on System Testing
Participates on WWSC Global Initiatives
Coordinates with Marketing/Product Managers for Item setup
Interfaces with other departments (w/in Supply Chain) and possibly with other sites to complete job responsibilities
Moderate to complex assignments performed under limited supervision
Creates templates of high complexity
Capable to create basic to medium SQL queries
Implement Process change work
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Comply with all Company policy and procedures including export regulationsRequirementsBachelor degree level of education
Fluency in the English language
Average verbal and written communication skills
Willing to travel
Willing to work in a dedicated team and under pressure to achieve team goals
Knowledgeable in creating basic SQL Queries in MSAccess, MSSQL, Oracle and AS400
Experience in working with MS Windows based PCs and application programs
Experience in using JDEdwards and Oracle Inventory setup is an advantage
Knowledge in VB Scripting is an advantage
Must be highly motivated
