The Role: As a Vendor Master Data Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of the Finance organization and provide crucial support for the Procurement team. This role will be responsible for Vendor master data rationalization and risk review completion. This role will also perform vendor master data analysis to ensure that the metadata is entered accurately and in country legal requirements are met globally.
Responsibilities:
In the Procurement Operations team, you will need to lead multiple projects regarding vendor master data rationalization. This role will need to stand behind their work to provide updates to the stakeholder as the vendor moves through the vendor onboarding process flow. Will need to communicate with vendors regarding Genesys documentation requirements and follow key Procurement standards. This role requires someone that is self-motivated and can assist with the change management aspect of a new process.
Vendor Master Data
Process vendor master additions and changes in an accurate and timely manner
Review new vendor capabilities and validate existing vendors capabilities to determine rationalization of the new request
Provide support and training to new and existing users who experience issues with vendor requests and escalated when needed
Assist manager in the governance of changes requests to MDM components and policies
Ensure SOX controls, Financial Policies and documented procedures are enforced
Support implementation of a Vendor Portal
Ensure risk review process is completed
Vendor master data review of missing Genesys required documentation
Sustainability and Diversity vendor tracking
Support implementation of Vendor Portal
Special projects
Requirements:
Professional written and verbal communications skills required with customer service approach to stakeholders and vendors
Experience with ERP systems
Highly accurate and detail-oriented
Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change
Able to work well with other cross functionally
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
3-5 years of experience in finance operations role preferred
