Job Description and Qualification:
The Procurement Buyer I is responsible for sourcing and procurement of supplies, equipment, and service for all requestors and related functions located in healthcare facilities in the United States. The position is accountable for :
Processing purchase order
Confirming appropriate approval and following-up on open purchase orders and vendor discrepancies.
Ensures accuracy of purchase and vendor/supply data while complying with the client and healthcare-specific policies, including maintaining logging, filing, and source documents.
The position routinely communicates upstream and downstream with suppliers and customers, respectively, to validate the information and finalize business transactions. The position performs a follow-up and expediting of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
Fundamental knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures, including concerning medical/surgical supplies, manufacturers, and distributors
Microsoft Office and computerized Supply Chain and Inventory Management System experience.
Must have knowledge in ERP System
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with close attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent process and query management skills
