In this role, you will be responsible to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services for both employees and customers. Answer incoming calls from customers, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, and provide information.
Our top call type will be complaints related to the store employees and to the store conditions. With this, we need to ensure that the poor quality customer experience will be overturned by the representatives/agents. Providing resolution by reaching out to the correct team will ensure that the customers will still return to our stores with confidence and appreciation with our products and our employees.
We also handle calls related to queries of customers about the sales ad being published on our main website – www.dollargeneral.com that includes our digital coupon and through our weekly newspapers inserts for our manufacturer coupons and our store ads.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer inquiries

Handle and resolve customer and products complaints
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints

QualificationsMinimum qualifications
High School Graduate
1 Year experience in Customer Service or the equivalent. Fresh graduate are welcome if they finished a tech related course and have strong communication skillsPreferred qualifications
Effective communication skills (Verbal and written) including active listening, asking appropriate questions, clarifying the issues and expressing oneself clearly.
Analysis and problem assessment skills demonstrated by the ability to collect the necessary information to identify key issues and identify cause-effect relationships
Adaptability including the ability to perform efficiently in different environments and with diverse tasks and people
Stress tolerance and the ability to maintain satisfactory work standards under pressure
In-depth product knowledge including proactive learning and understanding
