Pricing And Product Development Manager

The Pricing and Product Development Manager will develop competitive, innovative or customized product solutions that will support the strategic goals of the company across all distribution channels and provide efficient means and support for the implementation and installation of new products and/or initiatives in various systems of the Company (e.g. Proposal Systems, Life Admin Systems, etc.).
He/she will perform product modelling for profitability cash flows and all financial metrics necessary for product submission requirements which include a detailed analysis and implication of the financial results.
He/she will also conduct necessary steps or actions to secure approval of various teams (internal and executive) and local regulators for new products / campaigns / initiatives.
The PPD Manager will likewise initiate discussion with different work units and oversee project timelines to ensure timely implementation of new products and/or enhancement to existing products.
He/she will conduct measures or studies to identify risks, address issues and spot errors and recommend to Section Head any product enhancements, improvements and solutions that will improve product performance and/or process efficiency.
Moreover, he/she will initiate discussion with reinsurers for reinsurance support necessary for new products and/or campaigns and initiatives.
He/she will also ensure proper documentation of all product-related processes and procedures comply with standards set by local management, regional office and regulators.
What we are looking for:
Must have at least 3 years relevant actuarial work experience preferably with a life insurance company.
Must be an Associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines and must have a college degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field from reputable schools with solid track record of academic excellence.
With working knowledge of technical and practical aspects of product pricing and implementation
Knowledgeable with local regulations and requirements for insurance product filing and familiar with new developments on local regulations that will have impact on products.
Highly competent actuarial skills
Good project management skills
Good interpersonal and coaching skills
Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office and actuarial software applications (preferably Prophet).
