Create and approve quotations for domestic and global markets in timely manner to meet department objectives and all levels of quotes by considering profitability, market competition, potential volume, cost to manufacture, manufacturability, return on investment, and account payment history.
? Researches, analyzes and negotiates price, delivery date and customer certification requirements.
? Archiving and registering data relevant to product pricing formula.
? Negotiates price for each order to meet customer certification requirements and requested delivery dates.
? Researches cost/profit data to determine price to achieve maximum operating profit and sales.
? Interfaces with Engineering, Manufacturing and other functional departments to gather all data necessary to complete quote.
? Participate in sales-driven projects and team initiatives.
? Provide value-added services to customers and sales team.
? Performs initiatives on team needs to help improve oneself and the team.
? Training Involvement: Trains staff on the use of pricing tools and appropriate cost expectations. Assists in side by side systems and process training to new hires, peers and other internal personnel. Assists in mock call exercises for new hires; provides feedback and recommendations.
? Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/POC.
• Experience in Customer Service and Pricing for at least 1-2 years is preferred.
• Has Positive Customer-oriented attitude.
• Effective communications skills.
• Ability to access, interpret and use all computer service programs including Oracle, and other databases.
• Advance usage of ORACLE CRM, eLink, EDGE and AS400.
• Ability to write and analyze reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Detailed knowledge of all forms, documents, policies and procedures relating to customer orders and order processing.
• Strong communication, people and organizational skills are required.
• Ensures the attainment of client Service Level Agreements
• Ability to handle varying workloads and schedules
