As Canva launches Canva Print, it is important to be able to provide assistance to our users who will use this product for the first time.
The Print Prepress Designer’s mission is to promote customer happiness by ensuring all projects sent for print by our users are correct and approved by them in the Canva system. This person will be part of the Canva Print - Prepress Review Team and will work closely with the Print Prepress Lead.
What you'll do... Performing quality assurance process for pushed designs for print Executing necessary steps to fix errors seen between original design and file exported for print Documenting the issues and the corrections made Preparing files for production and making sure prepressed files are uploaded back into the Canva system Performing preflight processes to make sure there are no errors before sending to print Maintaining accuracy in checking and sending error-free designs for production Meeting with team members on a regular basis to continuously improve the prepress system Minimum Qualifications:

Are highly proficient in industry standard design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other applicable programs Have the ability to work on a 24/7 shifting schedule Have love for the technical side of design Have strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and contribute to creating new workflows Have the ability to prepare projects for print is essential Have strong project management skills, organisational skills and time-management skills Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with team and help with escalating issues to engineers It would also be advantageous if you have... Proficient knowledge of Canva Proficient knowledge of prepress and printing standards Proficient knowledge of CMYK, RGB, color modes, conversion Organizational skills, adaptability and composure under fire Agency or production design experience
