-Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with Professional License (Passed Board/Professional Licensure Exam).
-At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field
-shall have an extensive knowledge about pharmacological information
-Must be computer literate, especially on Excel, PowerPoint and Word
-Shall have a knowledge on clinical and pharmaceutical compliance regulatory standards
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and concisely
-Able to provide safe medications efficiently to all hospital clients
Responsibilities:
-Dispense pharmaceutical and nutritional products for IN and OUT patients.
-Prepare and dispense medications to patients in accordance with Doctor's order based on charge slip from different ward / department.
-Notifies physicians on any therapeutic incompatibilities, potential drug interactions and duplicate prescriptions.
-Provide information concerning medicines and drug therapy to all concerned health personnel in the hospital.
-Ensures that the right patient takes the right drug and the right dosage at the right time
-Dispensing, monitoring and recording of dangerous drugs.
-Monitor and check all empty vials returned from different hospital wards.
-Arranging and replenishing of medicines according to drug categories.
-List down medicines for stock requisition and requisition to purchase thru Bizbox system.
-Receiving and checking of drugs deliveries from different suppliers / distributors based on Purchase order.
-Filling of sales invoice of different pharmaceutical companies / distributors / suppliers
- Compilations of charge slip issued to different department
-Conducts monthly inventory of the Pharmacy and ancillary department and floor stocks
-Partakes in orientation and training of pharmacy interns on different areas and services of the hospital pharmacy.
-Perform other related function as assigned by the Chief Pharmacist
-Attend scientific seminar, workshops, convention and continuing education on drug-related matters and hospital pharmacy
-Participates in Antimicrobial Stewardship Program of DOH
