The Role
QuantBet Ltd are one of the brightest up and coming companies in Sports Betting, focusing on cutting edge analysis, research & trading.
We are recruiting for open positions as a Football Performance Analyst to join our team and help us collect data on the 20 competitions we currently cover. These are paid roles.
The role will involve watching games and using our proprietary bespoke data collection platform to capture key event data as specified by us. Full training will be given.
The role has no set hours, though availability to watch games for sustained periods over Sunday, Monday & Tuesday is essential. You should be able to work for a minimum of 10 hours across these days. While this job can be combined with other roles the nature of when football is played means that availability on these days is key.
The role is home based, all you need is a strong understanding of Football and a fast and reliable Internet connection – videos of all games will be provided for you along with access to our data collection platform.
About You
We are looking for those people with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The data collected is integral to how we work and so needs to be done to the highest level possible. Being able to concentrate and work autonomously is key.
We want somebody who is extremely knowledgeable about football – do your friends often ask your opinion when your team are linked with a new player? Are you somebody who has an in depth knowledge of how that mid table Bundesliga team plays? Are you the one who can recite the starting XI of the French team threatened with relegation? Then you are the kind of person we want to hear from!
The role has the potential to make it whatever you want, from doing a handful of games a week to those who take on as many as they can, the opportunities for progression into other roles and tasks within the company are possible in future.
While we don’t ask for any specific educational background and welcome applications from those of all ages there are a few things we require: –
· Being able to clearly speak and write in English.
· Accuracy is fundamental, whether in your data collection or spelling & grammar – you should be proficient in use of computers and IT.
· Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
· Knowledge of Expected Goals is desirable but training will be given and this is not essential.
The role is open to anybody worldwide – as it is home based there are no restrictions. You will be a contractor of QuantBet and NOT an employee. Payment is set at the going market rate and paid per game.

At that point details will be provided for the next stage of the recruitment process. There will be 5 Stages in total (including the Survey) before you are asked to do Trial Games. Should you successfully advance to doing Trial Games, they will start mid-February, with the idea being that anyone who does progress to join our talented team will be in a position to start mid-March.
