Job SummaryThe People & Culture Assistant, under the direct supervision of the P&C Manager, is responsible for the administration of human resource policies and processes related to recruitment, performance evaluation, compensation, and benefits and HR relations.Responsibilities
Execute human resource transactions from recruitment, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits, promotion, disciplinary and exit in support to institutional and program operations ensuring that prescribed processes are observed, specifically but not limited to the following: -Conduct preliminary shortlisting of applicants, schedule interviews/exams with applicants, prepare documentation of interviews, communicate with applicants on the status of their application, request for pre-employment requirements, conduct/facilitate induction process of new employees.

-Assist in the implementation of occupational safety and health practices by facilitating employees’ healthcare and accident insurance coverage and benefit claims, facilitating the conduct of wellness sessions and other related activities.-Provide administrative support in the conduct of performance evaluations, disciplinary processes and staff exit.Identify and analyse issues and other related factors which has impact on specific HR functions and recommends interventions to address said issues.
Inform staff on specific applicable HR processes and guidelines to support execution of transactions in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintain and update HR information, records and files, ensuring completeness, accuracy and availability to serve as future reference; provide inputs in the preparation of HR related reports as needed by the Country Director or Head Office.
Provide assistance in organizing/ facilitation team buildings and institutional events.
Perform other related tasks for the achievement of the goals and objectives of the HR unit.

Requirements:EssentialBachelors’ Degree in Social Sciences/Psychology/Human Resource or any related field. Graduates of other courses may be considered if she/he has the experience and competency requirements of the post
At least 2-5 years of work experience in human resources
Experience in working in an INGO is preferable
Willing to work in Legazpi City, Albay

CompetenciesProficient in the use of computer programs and applications
Excellent time management and people skills
Results-oriented, organized and systematic, resourceful and creative, has attention to details
With good interpersonal and communication skills
With strong professional attitude and can maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work and organization

We are offering:A fixed-term contract for three (3) months; To start immediately.
