Job Description Finance Associate Manager Payroll Expert (CPA) The Finance Associate Manager Payroll Expert serves as the subject matter expert for end to end accounting of the payroll process (from Total Rewards team, to Payroll processing team, to RTR payroll accounting and finally to RTR financial reporting team) and the overall POC within PH Controllership team for payroll related entries, queries and escalations. Responsibilities: Delivery Excellence Provide subject matter expertise on Payroll Accounting, including GL and payroll system interface Verify the Payroll interface to SAP every payroll run, identify, research and collaborate with payroll team and/or other teams for any discrepancy noted to arrive at a solution Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Total Rewards, and Compliance to ensure effective processes and controls are in place and are adhered to Review and endorse to the Country Controller new/revised/blocking of wage types including mapping to GL accounts Provide guidance related to myTE expense, total rewards and other payroll mappings as needed to comply with accounting guidelines, internal controls and government reporting requirements Provide sensitive payroll information for KPMG/Internal Controls/miscellaneous audit requests Identify and run or actively participate in payroll accounting related process improvements and innovation initiatives May have operational responsibility for Service Delivery, when applicable or assigned Stakeholder Management and Business Relationship Point of contact and trouble-shooter for escalations, issues and concerns related to Payroll Accounting Participates in monthly service management reviews with key stakeholders Assist in facilitation of requests for services that are beyond the standard services Responsible for managing SLAs and relationships with other groups Develop and maintain working relationships with entity, workgroup and geographic key contacts People Development Assist in building strong succession plan for self and team Mentor and counsel team members assigned to work on program/project Demonstrate effective teaming skills both within and outside of the team Encourage team members to share knowledge and to leverage proven best practices Participate in people development activities outside of the team (e.g. community activities, recruiting, and teaching) Financial Reporting Associate Manager - Budgeting and Forecasting (CPA) The Financial Reporting Associate Manager is responsible for the Financial Reporting team which primarily handles all financial reporting including but not limited to statutory and management requirements. This role will coordinate, analyze and prepare data on the country's financial management and statutory statements to ensure they meet all requirements. In addition, close collaboration with other finance teams and external auditors is required. Responsibilities: Delivery Excellence Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the country’s financial statements and reporting in accordance with relevant local and global standards including but not limited to meeting both internal and external requirements while fostering key relationships with delivery stakeholders both locally and globally. Qualifications:BS Accountancy graduate, CPA required
Minimum of 8 years accounting or record to report experience with strong financial, accounting and reporting skills in a shared services industry or with the big 4 auditing firms.
At least 3 years experience in a people manager role.
Experience in handling accounting in a headcount intensive business structure
Knowledgeable in various payroll and benefits taxes, including FBT
Experience in handling complex account reconciliations.
Has worked in an extensive ERP environment.
