**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
The role will contribute to V.Group's Strategies and Values by ensuring that crew payroll related process are complied with and all crew are paid accurately and on time.
The Payroll Executive is responsible for securing the information on updated wage scales and ensuring the timely and accurate payroll processing of seafarers' salary through reviewing pertinent files and documents such as vessel payrolls, monthly portage bills, and the crew lists and deduction lists from the Master.
**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**:
1.
Handle payroll for vessels/on board positions as per the targets assigned for the role by the management team
2.
Secures the information on updated wage scales and any relevant update on the crew wages and changes in the contract.
3.
Coordinates with the Master to ensure that the required Monthly Variables/Deduction Lists are received.
4.
Reviews the crew lists versus the deduction lists received from the Masters and coordinates any offsigners/joiners that are missing on the list that should be included in the vessel payroll.
5.
Prepares and/or checks the vessel payrolls/monthly portage bills based on the agreed crew contract or wage scale and the deduction lists received from vessel.
6.
Coordinates with the person arranging the MPO and Allotment as to the actual amount paid to the crew to ensure that correct amount will be deducted from their on-board wages.
7.
Reviews the payroll and MGA reports and forwards the same to the respective vessel's Master and vessel accounts
8.
Answers queries from the crew relating to their on-board wages.
9.
Ensures that Final Wages of offsigners are accurately computed and arranged accordingly.
10.
Connect to Shipsure suite, on a regular basis, to code and approve all invoices for the assigned vessel as required by MOTO/Client.
11..Prepares the relevant fund requests to for MPO/Allotment/Final Wages as required.

ESSENTIAL:
- Fresh Graduate in Accounting or Financial Management
- Good computer operating skills including word processing and spreadsheet experience
