Payroll Analyst

Basic FunctionAs Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the integrity and quality control of benefit
deductions for payroll administration & spending account administration.Your main objective
will be to prepare payroll reports, establish and update contributions for tax-advantage and
wellness spending accounts.
You will work with operation team members and finance team member on a weekly basis to
maintain the integrity of payroll information. Your mission is to streamline these data
processes and help reduce administrative burden on our clients.
Education? 2+ years of payroll experience
? Benefit administratration/employee benefits experience
? Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, arithmetic formulas, Pivot Tables, Index Match)
? Knowledge, use and experience of Visual Basic Macros considered an asset
? 1+ year of experience at a healthcare and/or start-up company preferred
Specific Duties and Responsibilities? Prepare payroll reports with benefit deductions for all clients on a weekly, bi-weekly or
semi-monthly basis
? Process, calculate, and update payroll reports for new hires, terminations, and
employee changes, including retroactive payments/refunds
? Audit payroll file formats and benefit calculations to ensure accuracy
? Identify, analyze, and correct payroll and carrier invoice discrepancies
? Manage and audit funding for taxable wellness spending accounts
? Investigate, analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner
? Perform ad hoc reporting requests
? Assist with other tasks and projects as needed
