The role is based within the Operations team who ensure that all international payments are managed and released according to FCA, HMRC requirements; global bank accounts are monitored, maintained and funded to facilitate payments and client funds are segregated and safeguarded
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain an in depth understanding of our platform and how international payments are processed Process and monitor all payments Flag issues with the Relationship Management team and or Compliance to ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner Investigate and resolve customer queries Ensure all transactions have been processed on a daily basis Identify improvements and suggest solutions for the operations system, communicating these to the Head of Payments or VP Operations Build and maintain an understanding of AML, KYC, banking sanctions, FCA, and HMRC regulations Build and maintain an understanding of bank charges, ensure both own and colleagues activities do not incur bank charges Support the rest of the Payments Team with ad hoc requests, projects, or routine duties Build and maintain relationships with all third-party vendors. Ensure service provided is to a high standard and make recommendations to improve and streamline processes and interactions Complete any other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:

At least 2 years experience processing local and international payments within a foreign exchange payments company, bank or broker and / or a company that uses banking platforms. Beneficial if has an experience with high volume daily payments processing, completing daily reconciliation Has good understanding how FCA and HMRC regulations impact the business
