JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Evaluate quality of food ingredients, raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met
· Adjust temperature controls of oven and other heating equipment
· Load materials into production equipment
· Operate cooking, baking and other food preparation equipment
· Measure ingredients to be used in production process
· Observe color of the products being baked and adjust oven temperatures
· Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning as necessary
· Order and receive raw materials, supplies and equipment
· Maintain inventory and production records
· Develop new recipes for baked goods
