Position Description
Job Summary:
To instruct one course section of MUS 100, Intro to Music Study, a required course for all incoming School of Music freshmen.
Responsibilities:
Organize weekly lesson plans, including assignments as well as guests and University speakers
Grade assignments
Coordinate with first year initiatives
Collaborate with other MUS 100 instructors

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Music or Music Education

Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Music
Minimum of 1 year working with Student Success Initiatives

Competencies:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with others
Ability to think through academic issues
Manages time effectively
