Painter

1.
Applies coats of paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures.
2.
Removes old paint from surfaces and smooths surfaces using different tools such as, but not limited to, paint remover, scraper, sandpaper, brushes, and steel wool.
3.
Selects premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specific colors.
4.
Safekeeps tools used in the performance of the job.
5.
Attends to company and client meetings and required trainings pertaining to or relative to his position.
6.
Observes safe work practices during performance of duty.
7.
Does other tasks which are inherent to the job and position of a Maintenance Man - Painter.
8.
Performs such other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
