Packaging Technologist for Supply Chain is a challenging yet rewarding and fulfilling role! You will be working in line with the defined and implemented safety protocol to support the implementation of the latest SHE standards as well as:
Monitor and ensure follow-up of HACCP standards in the brewery Maintain and monitor GMP, Hygiene, HACCP of Packaging Monitor and interpret all data from the quality control in the packaging process in order to craft proposals to continuously improve hygiene and product quality Identify quality improvements and carry out troubleshooting, leads and provide instructions for corrective actions together with the related process owner Ensure that customer complaint reports are used as input to improve quality assurance and conduct process improvement in relation with quality of product and effective cost by process analyses Monitor all parameters of process, equipment and products to ensure the parameters including First Time Right process are done properly according to QC requirements Train operators to support quality-related activities in packaging as well as on technological best practices Lead and participate in a PQ-improvement team and assure corrective and known preventive actions and verification Ensure the use of latest standards and procedures, which are in line with HEINEKEN (and license partner) standards and legal requirements (auditing) and set-up validation protocols and first product release according to HEINEKEN Standards & Procedure Provide technological input to NPI projects on request and lead in monitoring and evaluating new packaging materials, product trials and pilot testing as well as doing relevant analyses related to them Minimum Qualifications:
Strong analytical and planning skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Excellent problem-solving skills; Conversant in spoken and written English Graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Packaging Engineering Has relevant experience and exposure in packaging process of bottles and cans We prefer someone who has experience in:
Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, Packaging / Utilities Continuous improvement methodologies like TPM / Lean / 6 Sigma, etc.
