Responsible for the overall order process within assigned area. Following best practices and established guidelines, reviews order requests, generates orders, tracks and monitors order progress, receives/reviews orders, and accepts orders for further fulfillment and processing.
Reviews order requests for completeness in accordance with established guidelines, works cooperatively with requestor to complete order request, resolves order request issues, and ensures that orders are received and reviewed within established service level agreements.
Generates orders for qualified order requests, utilizes correct order templates/toolsets and ensures that orders are generated accurately. Submits orders to customers for signature.
Monitors order progress, tracks outstanding orders, follows up on orders, resolves customer order issues, obtains executed orders or cancels orders as appropriate.
Reviews executed orders for completeness, identifies order errors, coordinates resolution of order issues/error with customer and/or order requestor.
Prepares order package, files orders and submits orders for fulfillment.
Assist in other order entry process activities including data maintenance, metric reporting, analysis, and training.
Supports special projects as assigned.
Identify operational improvement areas through the discovery of gaps or new opportunities, responding to changing business requirements
Degree from an accredited college/university or prior operations experience in a high volume transaction environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
General business acumen and understanding, strong problem solving skills
Basic understanding of contracts in a subscription and/or consulting business environment
Possess basic negotiating skills to finalize orders with customers
Well organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to changing priorities and work calmly under pressure and deadlines
Follow through on action items and deliver requested objectives on time; appropriately escalates difficult issues
