Job Description
Order and Logistics Delivery Manager
Role Overview:
Manage a team of people working on order and logistics management processes.
Understands process and business metrics and how they can impact outcomes.
Understands best in class processes and industry benchmarks.
Can develop and implement a transformation roadmap for the client in the Order and Logistics management area.
Understands upstream and downstream processes to order & logistics management and the inter linkages across these process areas.
Ensures all Service Level Agreements are adhered to and provides the client with a high-quality service.
Create and implement a transformation roadmap.
Ability to engage with key stakeholders on the client side.
Promotes teamwork, provides employees with coaching and feedback large sized team.
Networks with other functions.
General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Is responsible for managing teams of the size of 50-75 FTEs and processing complex transactions and producing outputs in the following areas:
Order inquiry
Quote creation
Receive orders from multiple sources
Create Orders
Validate orders
Modify/Cancel orders
Process orders
Create delivery and shipment documents
Integrate with load building, mode planning and route optimization
Process returns
Archive and Retrieve Documents
Create and prepare regular reports related to business support and analysis
Has a vital role to support the following programs:
Support Audit requirements and activities addressing risks and controls
Create, Sustain, and improve strategic initiatives to grow the business and retain people
Maintain client relationship and business intimacy
Lead, Collaborate, operationalize improvement initiatives that drive cost efficiencies and improve current existing processes
Support competitiveness targets (I-portal / DEX)
Prevent and/or address any levels of escalations coming from clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
Experience in stakeholder management in shared services and/or BPO industry
Experience in managing and strengthening business relationship
Process improvement / project management experience is preferred
Order-to-cash or supply chain experience (end-to-end scope) in shared services / BPO environment
With Finance and accounting background is preferred
With SAP user experience
Manager role with minimum of 3/4 years? experience
With experience in managing several offshore teams and/or collaborate with various parties to complete a project / tasks
Has average to high communication skills in written and verbal methods
Logistic/financial claims and collections experience is preferred
