Operations Manager: E-Commerce Industry

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Manager will be designing and executing focused operational plans to meet strategic objectives within the online platforms. Specifically this person will be focused on monitoring and executing the operations for Lazada, Shopee, wholesale distributorship and other 3rd party marketplaces with a full understanding of all the necessary supporting functions and roles of Ecommerce, such as order fulfillment, logistics, implementation, customer acquisition, pick up and drop off. This person will need to lead the E-Commerce operations in maintaining and increasing volume levels within existing operational system and growing new techniques to deliver long-term profitability.

Maintain operations: setting up, operating, monitoring, reporting, and planning, inventory.

Very deep knowledge and first-hand market experience on Order Management and Fulfillment operations. Good understanding of how the flow of goods interacts with Planning, Logistics and Customer Development.

Perform day-to-day activities of the e-commerce platform.

Supervises the movement, distribution, and storage of imports, supplies, merchandize.

Supervises last mile logistics operations.

Work with different team to define strategies and assortment plan.

Assist in collaboration and review meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of forecasts and the achievement of fill rates to required levels.

Evaluate issues and effectively communicate technical and non-technical solutions to peers and customers.

Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement online initiatives and inform go-to-market strategies.

Increase the share of e-commerce to retail sales without sacrificing retail sales within established business channels

Leverage existing relationships with E-Channel partners to drive sales growth.

Other administrative work that may be assigned

Qualifications:

Interested in e-Commerce and retail industry

Bachelor's degree in business, operations or related discipline preferred.

Atleast 1 year operational experience as manager, preferably in e-Commerce and retail industry

Detail oriented and work well under pressure with tight timelines

Competent in MS Office applications

Working experience with e commerce platform like Lazada & Shopee is an advantage.
